Comparison of the genomic expression of mice fed benaGene or Calorie Restricted as compared to Control Mice

Calorie Restricted Mice were fed 40% less than baseline ad librium. benaGene supplemented mice and Control group mice were allowed unrestricted feed. Of the 363 genes that showed increases or decreases in expression that were common to both the Calorie Restricted and benaGene fed mice, 356 of these genes (98.1%) moved in the same direction away from the control group mice, indicating that feeding benaGene to mice mimics a similar genomic expression as is seen in mice that are Calorie Restricted for the genes that are expressed in common. Effective doses of benaGene fed to Canorhabitis elegans (worms), Drosophila melanogaster (flys) and C57Bl/6 mice increase lifespan by 20 to 40% by increasing the levels of favorable proteins and decreasing detrimental proteins expressed by the DNA gene sequences.
