Dr. Stephen Spindler

Calorie Restriction Pathways

Dr. Stephen Spindler (University of California Riverside) presents preliminary information on compounds that mimic calorie restriction and result in increases in Lifespan in Mice.  OAA (oxaloacetic acid, benaGene TM) was one of the leading compounds to increase lifespan. We shall continue to follow Dr. Spindler's work.  See his presentation at the Manhattan Beach Project Longevity Conference, Miami, Florida in November 2009.
